This competition is known as “Collectr Uniform Design Contest 2020” (the“Competition”).
This Competition is organized by Collectr Sdn. Bhd. (the “Company”).
Key objectives of the Competition are as follows:
a. We are looking for fashion designers to showcase their talent by designing elegant uniforms for our deliver personnel, consisting of the Concierge, Runners and Riders.
b. The uniform designs should be practical for their purpose, comfortable to wear, and cost-effective to produce.
c. The winner will be appointed Collectr’s official uniform designer for one year and have their winning design represented on the Collectr delivery team.
4. Regulations & Eligibility
a. The Competition is open to all Malaysian citizens and residents who are 18 years of age or above;
b. Participation in the Competition is free of charge;
c. The Competition is governed in whole by the Collectr General Terms Agreement, Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice which are available at www.collectr.tech/terms-of-use
5. Presentation Guideline
a. The Competition consists of creating one (1) prototype of their concierge uniform design;
b. Each participant must create only one (1) prototype;
c. The prototype's measurements can be either according to your body size or a life model's;
d. The prototype must be presented in-person to the Company's panel of judges (subjected to CMCO guidelines);
e. Participants not presenting one (1) design of their concierge uniform design shall not be considered;
f. The prototype must be a ready-to-wear uniform;
g. Your prototype must be original and should not have been created more than two (2) years prior to the presentation (submission) date;
h. Participants are not allowed to present prototypes that have been offered for sale, published, produced or publicly exhibited. The Company may, at its sole discretion, make exceptions for works by full-time art students which have been exhibited by their respective school, but which have not been offered for sale, published, produced or exhibited in any other form.
a. The winner of the Competition will be rewarded with a one (1) year contract as the official uniform designer for the Company;
b. Receive a royalty-based compensation of RM5 (Five Ringgit Malaysia) for each uniform manufactured for the Company, and
c. Receive a cash prize of RM1,000 (One Thousand Ringgit Malaysia).
7. Competition Rules & Guidelines
a. Participants are to present one (1) prototype of their concierge uniform design in-person to the Company's panel of judges;
b. Participants must use the Company's official colours and may refer to the mood board below for their designs:

c. Participants are to follow the requirements below for the uniforms:
d. Upon presenting their prototype, no revision will be accepted and the Organizer will not entertain any request for the return of the Competition prototype;
e. Failure to comply with any of the above requirements may result in an automatic disqualification. Prototypes will not be returned regardless of the conclusion of the Competition and participants are encouraged to safe keep a copy of submitted materials for records purposes.
8. Competition Timeline
Prototypes will be judged by the Company’s panel of judges and shall be final.
For ethical and compliance reasons, the Company will not entertain any correspondence with the participants during or after the Competition period, except for the sake of answering clarifications questions raised by the Participants. When such clarification answers are provided, they shall be made available to all participants in the interest of fairness.
Prototypes will be judged based on, but not limited to, the following criteria:
- Uniform Composition
Strictly without prejudice or liability, the Company reserves the full right at its own discretion not to award a winner of the Competition should the prototypes fail to meet the requirements, and to close the Competition without further notice or obligations to the participants.
10. Ownership of Competition Materials
By entering the Competition, the participants agree to provide the Organizer with the right to use the prototypes for the purpose of showcasing any and all works produced by the Participants under the Competition for promotional purposes.
The Participants further agree that the Organizer reserves the right to use the participants’ name in connection with such promotional showcasing but shall have no obligation to do so.
